User18
I have heard from lot of folks That H1B visa Denials are at High Rate with Cognizant, TCS & Tech Mahindra, Somewhere around 70-80% of denials with these companies, Is that true ? What is the reason for High H1B denial with these companies ? I'm not surprised if it is! As far as i know, These companies don't have good standards in Recruiting talent(Including Wipro, Infosys & HCL). What i have heared they only file H1B or GC if you are of they own ethnic Managers/Management(Like Cognizant or TCS file H1B or hire only if you're Tamil Ethnicity). Quote Link to comment
NotAnAttorney
May be this question to the spokesperson's of respective companies. Quote Link to comment
02112018
According to the news few months ago, these companies violated L-1, H1B rules , so now they have the results of violating the results. Do not violate any rules. Quote Link to comment
User18
Quote few months ago, these companies violated L-1, H1B rules "few months ago, these companies violated L-1, H1B rules" is an understatement. Violation has been their core Principle of Outsourcing companiesever since inception. It's USCIS have just woken up to these mafia style companies. Making money of the hard labor A.K.A is "consulting" Or "Outsourcing" is not just violation its EVIL. For too long USCIS has been living under the cloud for not paying attention to how these companies operate, recruit talent, file H1B/L1's and Green Cards. I met a guy happened to be with a title "Project Manager" from one of these companies at fortune 20 client site. As per his Linkedin, He had a bachelor of Science from a non- Existence college from a remote village in south India(Bachelor of Science, Bsc in India is equivalent to eliminatory school drop out in US standards). The company filed for Green card under EB1 "Exceptionally talented" category for this guy. His work at client was no equal to assistant at front desk. If i sound Excarating and crazy to say but that was the reality and truth. I was just Blown out! Quote Link to comment

But current scenario of USCIS rejecting genuine candidates seems to be very a bad step 😞 . Also most of the consulting companies stopped doing GCs. Now days most of them returning back to home country as whole H1B visa system based work model is slowly becoming unreliable . Quote Link to comment
User18
Quote But current scenario of USCIS rejecting genuine candidates seems to be very a bad step This is Incorrect! Every year USCIS issues 80,000 New H1B visas and top infinite H1B renewals. AND Infinite L1 Visas without Any cap. Asking for Degree Certificate, etc Evidence is not equivalent to rejecting. Right From Fake Degree Certificates, Fake Resumes, Fake experience, Poor Hiring standards etc etc etc there is never end for these outsourcing companies. Quote most of the consulting companies stopped doing GCs. This is Incorrect as well! Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra Etc Everyone of them Still does GC's. No Wonder Gc's are clogged and abused to the core as well! Quote H1B visa system based work model is slowly becoming unreliable . It is not H1B Visa system is unreliable. It is these Outsourcing companies have abused the system. It is USCIS has not enforced the laws clearly. Apparently, Indian Companies have Zero law enforcement from Indian Government(If there are any laws at all) including labor abuse by these outsourcing companies. These companies are let operate like Mafia's in India and think they can run similar way in United states as well! Quote Link to comment
User18
Any specific reasons why these Companies H1B are denied ? Quote Link to comment

H1 denials can have lots of reasons, but usually, for consulting companies, it is lack of client letter, employer-employee relationship, and specialty occupation. And once there is a pattern from a company, the officers may look more closely at all petitions from that company. Your best option is to avoid consulting companies. Quote Link to comment
1harish21
I received a full time opportunity from CTS. I am on OPT and worried about the H1B filing since CTS has more number of H1B Denials. How good is CTS for full time for a F1 Student? Were previous denials are only for CTS employees from india or does it apply in my case too? Please Help!!! Quote Link to comment

I heard the Indian economy, and by extension the job market, was doing well.. according to govt statistics. As an F1 student, you're expected to complete your degree and return back home to be employed. Quote Link to comment
GG3
I am probably receiving an offer letter from Cognizant and there is a demand for what I do in Technology side. I have a degree in C.S. from a reputed university in U.S. Should I go for CTS amidst all these concerns? Quote Link to comment
JoeF
Find an employer who isn't a consulting company. Recent studies show that denials for all consulting companies(even American ones) have skyrocketed. Edited December 6, 2019 by JoeF Quote Link to comment
