NORI NOCs and J1 Waiver and address change

Hi all,

I am here in USA working as a postdoc from 2015. I have initiated J1 waiver and am currently in Stage 2. I have revived 2 NOCs (HR. Delhi and Passport office, Kolkata) and am waiting for the Home Department's NOC. I have initiated waiver process from Indian embassy at Washington DC. I have two questions:

1. I have received Passport office's NOC and it mentioned my old passport number rather than new passport number. Is is okay that my NOC letter mentioned  old passport number?

2. While waiting for the 3rd Noc (Home Department) I am going to change my postdoc institute which will be in a different state and different Indian embassy. Now, in that situation after having all 3 NOCs, which embassy should I sent those NOCs to complete stage 2 and start stage 3?

Please help me.

Hi Kunal,

I think all the NOCs need to go the Indian Embassy at Washington DC. I am planning to initiate the process of getting NOSs. Can you please give me some advice or suggestion on that? I am still in US.
