Harssing 0 Report post Posted August 5, 2018 When I had valid H4 EAD, I opened an LLC which is successfully running. However, my H4 EAD is expired now and I've filed extension. I'm the managing member of the company. What happens now? Any legal consequences of running a LLC on H4? My CPA says its not an issue as LLCs can be run by foreign nationals. Please advise. JoeF 7 Report post Posted August 5, 2018 (edited) You currently do not have work authorization, which means you can not be actively involved in running the company. Being a foreign national is irrelevant. Having authorization to work is what matters, and you currently don't have that. Edited August 5, 2018 by JoeF Share this post Link to post
anjali08 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2018 Depends on who looks at it. From tax purposes, no issues. From visa purposes, yes there's an issue if you are making money while not on H4. Share this post Link to post
