Confi84
Hi, I work from Home(H1B) for an US based organization. I am a remote employee (FTE), I do visit the office one in a month and reside near by office. My organization is trying to start the GC processing now (PERM). They have shared a template for me to fill out. I am worried now, as I can see there is a question stating that if I am a remote employee ? Will I face any issue in the process if I state my self as a remote employee/position? Can we start GC processing being a remote employee? Till last month i.e. July18 I was working in office. Shall I change my work from home to Work in a office location before starting the GC processing and then shift to Work from home after the processing starts. Please suggest. Thanks in advance. 02112018
Being a remote employee, you can start the GC process. You need to make sure your LCA has your HOME address where you mostly work from and you should be fine. If LCA does not have your home address, make sure you update LCA first then file wage and follow the next steps for GC. Link to comment
