F1 ( Stem OPT ) to H 4

I am on stem opt extension till October. I wanted to change my status to H4, but I don’t have paysubs for the last two months as I have been on bench and have not got any project since last 8 months. What are my options? Can I still apply for change of status with paysubs?

  Change Of Status petition is reviewed closely for current legal status and you have to submit paystubs.   The better option is to travel to your home country or outside the USA and get a H4 visa, instead of apply for change of status, and enter with new I-94 on H4.
