I-94 about to expire but hold approved I-797

Hello All, 

 

I been to India  on November 2017 and return back to United States on December 9th 2017. During my traveling back to United States my Port of enter has been done at Abu Dhabi Airport . In this process of Immigration my I-94 validity was got authorized as per the visa stamped on my passport. But by the time I already had new approved Petition which I also carried. Now what is the best way to update my I-94 validity date.

Go out of country and come back if you have visa stamping or apply for H-1 extension again.
