remih
I came to USA in July 2017 with B2 tourist visa. The company that I worked in Turkey has established a new company in New York in August 2017. And they offered me an executive level job in this company. After that, I applied for change of status and applied for an L1A visa in December 2017. And the change of status has been approved in January 2018 and the approval is for 1 year. I am on the payroll of the USA company since February 2018. The company is active in USA but there are no employees other than me. I want to start my process for green card application. I would like to get suggestions about timing? Is it perfectly fine that I apply now? Should I wait until my L1A expires and renew it, and then start Green Card process etc... The company definitely wants to keep me but their growth is not going as expected. How is Green Card process related to the initial L1A application and its commitments? Link to comment
pontevecchio
You cannot apply. Your company can. But in view of only one employee you have a problem. Discuss your wishes with a Lawyer and then approach the company to see where they stand. Link to comment
