H1B visa stamping after I-140 Approved

I hold a H1B work visa, recently I got my I-140 and  extension beyond 6 years got approved. Now, I am planning to go to India for vacation. Can someone tell me if I still need to attend visa stamping interview under Non-Immigrant category (as we do before I-140)? or would something change now with I-140 approved? Please help me with right information. Thank you.

You need a H1 visa to return if you do not have one or the current one expired. Visa is a stamp in your passport. The procedure to get a H1 visa remains the same and you could use the Drop box if applicable to you.
