Bissa
Can anyone comment or explain on this recent announcement by USCIS on NTA? Sounds like you have to appear in front of immigration judge for your "unlawful presence" even after 240 days rule, but, it it "lawful" to stay to wait for your case turn. You are not authorize to work until you appear in front of the judge, which may take months, then how one can survive if not paid? Link to comment
Ken7
Read Murthy's interpretation on this site. Not only do you can't work, you continue to accrue unlawful presence while waiting for the court appearance. It's a catch 22. Link to comment
