I94 Validity - Out of status vs Illegal Presense

I was working for company A and got my visa stamping till Apr 2020 and my I-94 valid till Apr 2020.  I transferred my visa to company B and have received an RFE . Company A revoked my previous petition. Below are my questions

1) Am i am currently in legal status because of the previous I-94 which is valid till Apr 2020 or because of the H1-B transfer which is in pending status ?

2) If the H1-B transfer to B is denied, is the previous I-94 still considered valid ?

3) If it is not valid , will i be considered out of status  or illegal presence after the petition is denied ?

4)  Can company B refile the petition after denial and how soon they have to do it after the petition denial ?
