harath Posted July 9, 2018 Report Share Posted July 9, 2018 Hi, My OPT extension will be expired in Dec 2018 and I have received H1B RFE for this year just yesterday. My attorney may take 2.5 months to respond to my RFE, so mostly I may not receive RFE response by Dec 2018. After my OPT extension is expired, will I become out of status? What are my options? 1. To enroll in school and wait for my H1B response from USCIS? 2. Can my work authorization get extended since my H1B is pending with USCIS? Please share your inputs Link to comment
