H1B Visa Stamping Consular Process(F1-H1B)

Hi Everyone

Recently my H1B petition got approved  through consular process.Currently I am on STEM OPT which is valid through Jan 31,2019.Shall I need to go for stamping before Oct 1,2018  or I  can continue to work in STEM OPT and go for stamping whenever possible before my OPT expires i.e. Jan 31,2019.Can  someone who has idea or experienced this situation,clarify me about it?

Hello DB,

Not mandatory to go for stamping as far as you are in valid status.

If you leave the country for some reason, you have to go for stamping to return to u.s
