The case is already settled and compromise agreement was reached long time ago some time mid last year, but the case itself is not dismissed in India, the judge is ruling that my physical presence is necessary. From what I was told, there was a loc issued and was sent to Indian consulate. Can consulate cause any issues to me if I send my passport for renewal, in other words can consulates take any legal action against me or can they reject my passport renewal application ?
