hrsht
Hi, I want to visit Canada and also get my stamping done. I want to know for me and my wife case, how a safe option is it to get visa stamped from Toronto. Also how much time does it take? How frequent RFE occurs? I work for as a FTE (software engineer) and have visa from the employer directly. My current visa is expired and it was from the previous company. I have I-140 and h1b extension from the new company. My wife is contracting and her visa is expired. She had got RFE when went for stamping in india for the first time. Her visa renewal is from the same company and her client is same since the last time her visa was stamped. Is she going to have any issues? Thanks Link to comment
mehopeful
You can, in principle apply in Canada. However, if either of you don't have US or Canadian education, it is possible that the consulate in Canada will send you to your home country. It is a small chance. Contracting positions always draw more scrutiny anywhere. Link to comment
