I-94 is going to expiry in 5 Days for H4, But valid stamping until next 3 months

HI Sir /Madam,

My son entered into US on Jan 29th 2018 along with me and my wife and he has valid H4 Visa until Sept 12th 2018.

But, His Indian Passport is going to be expired on Jun 30th 2018. At Port of entry, he got I94 until Passport expiry and officer ask me to contact CBP after passport renewal.

We renewed his passport and we want to extend / renew his I94 until H4 Visa expiry Date.

How do i extend?

You were misinformed by the CBP Officer . You can try as said. Most likely you will have no joy. If you do, Good.

The next step would be to file a H4 EOS on form I-539 before I94 expiry.
