Refund $1225 from USCIS

Hello Gurus,

I have filed under EB1-A.

My i-140 got approved in April under premium processing.

Biometric fingerprint done in May,

EAD and AP received in May,

I-485 pending status.

Got $1225 refund check from USCIS on june 24th.

I am very scared and nervous. why did they refund .

Please Help.

someone please help me what does this indicate and why have they returned check of $1225 i-485.

is it because the date is not current or because they rejected or denied my i-485.

Did you check with the USCIS?  Most probably, the reason could be dates are not current under EB1 and an IMMigrant Visa number is not available for you yet.  They might send you another letter to submit the fee again, or it could be by mistake and you might get your GC as soon as the dates become current.  To be sure why you got the refund, check directly with the USCIS.

I think you cannot process I-485 under premium processing but I'm not sure.

As of today I have a clarity on this. 

I am from India.

I had filed i-140 and i-485 together under EB1-A and USCIS received my document on April 9th 2018.

My i-140 got approved in 15 days as I had filed under premium processing.

Biometric fingerprint done in May,

EAD and AP received by May end.

I-485 was pending status.

I received in email and letter in a mail saying that my EAD will be revoked in 18 days and uscis refunded my fee for I-485 of amount $1225 (check). this happened in June.

so I am clear now that I have to file I-485 when the date becomes current.

Can I file I-485 now as the date is showing current in second table.

can you please explain me difference between first table and the second table.

any idea if the date going back to current in oct 2018.

it will be great help.
