H4-Travel with H1 Petition Receipt

Hi,

Request you to suggest on dependents travel.

I was with employer “A” and had my H1B and H4 Visa of my dependents stamped on passport, which is valid till December 2018. I Quit employer “A” and joined employer “B” with receipt notice but unfortunately by H1 petition got denied in the month of May (05/11/2018). My family travelled to India on May 25^th, 2018. After initial H1 denial same employer “B” reapplied and revived new receipt.

Can my dependents travel back to USA with below documents?

 - Passport  having H4 (Through employer “A”) Visa stamped till December 2018

-  Having latest H1 petition receipt( Employer "B") and my latest pay slips.

 Please suggest .

Yes. They can travel using employer A visa stamp.

Did your wife travel ? Was there any issue at Port of Entry? Please let me know as I have similar kind of situation

Hi OP,

did your Wife travel with the new employer's Receipt notice? I am also in the same situation.

My family have the H4 Visa stamped and I will be shortly moving to the new Employer with receipt notice.
