Sanjay Chaoudhury
Hi, I have a very basic question.I have approved i140 and currently i am in 7th year in USA. My i140 was approved in 2016 and i am with same employer now. My question is if i move back to my home country will my i140 will still active and once priority dates are current , will i get the green card in home country? Can i come back to USA again with my dependents after i get the the green card (without any visa sponsorship)? Thanks, Sanjay Link to comment
JoeF
The I-140 stays valid. But, if you are abroad, you can only do Consular Processing when the PD is current, and that requires that you at that time have a notarized job offer from the employer who filed the I-140. Link to comment
