khader
Hello, I was working for company A. Company A started my green card processing. In the mean time my H1B extension petition from company A got rejected. I joined Company B. From Jan/01/2018 I was employed by Company B. Now my I140 got (filed by company A) got approved on Jan/05/2018. I did NOT move back to Company A. I hope Company A does NOT revoke my petition (too big of hope). Now company B is starting my GC processing. Questions: Can I port my priority date (from Company A) or not? If I can not port, Should I move to company A & work there for 6 months. Can I port after that? Link to comment
gouthamsworld
As long as your I140 is active until June 5th you can port the date. Company B can request porting at the time of I140. Thanks Goutham Link to comment
