That assumes that the OP stops working once the COS receipt arrives. It is possible to continue working on the H1 until the COS to His approved. In this CAS, the H1 clock would of course continue. The clock stops if the person is no longer in H1 status, either by stopping working when the person gets the COS receipt or when the COS is approved. Link to comment
