Canada visa interview slot - what to answer to this question?

Hi All,

I am Planning to Travel from U.S.A to Canada (Vancouver) , I need help in answering the below question what did you guys select when reserving your appointment?

" Are you traveling from another country to apply for a u.s. visa? "

If i answer :

 

yes - the earliest available appointment is on October 2 2018.

 

No -  I am able to see appointments for June and July 2018.

Since you are going from USA and not from any other country, you can enter "NO" for this question.

I did the same in my application.

I have checked with embassy today and they have replied  as below.

We should not be using NO..you got lucky.
