Atl_guy
Hi Guys - Need your help with my query pls. Me and my wife both are scheduled for N400 interview next month..while I have already received the notification, I am not sure if I need to carry my tax returns for last 5 years. The USCIS site though says that we need to bring tax returns for 5 years but the letter doesn’t mention those to be brought in.. Mine is employment based GC and me and my wife both were married before coming to US and ever since in US have been filing tax returns jointly. Thanks Link to comment
JoeF
Just take them with you. It never hurts to have more than what the letter asked for. Most likely, they won't ask for It, but just in case... Link to comment
Shurap1
I would also take current and all old expired passports, birth certificate and marriage certificate. Also make sure your wife understand a bit about tax returns; basically a differentiation between state and federal tax forms. Also she should know her social security number which interviewer officer may want her to confirm while going through N-400 form. All the best. Link to comment
