Valid H1B stamp from previous employer

I have a H1B stamp from my previous employer which is valid until December 2019. Can I use that to travel to India and enter back? Or do I have to get a new stamp with the new employer? 

Details of my situation:

- Stamped H1B VISA in passport in Dec 2016 with a 3 year validity until Dec 2019.

- Changed employer in April 2017.

- Want to travel to and return from India this August (2018).

You can use the exciting stamping and travel. at the POE i US airport show the new approval of i797. They will update the information .
