Starting company on EAD

Hi,

I am working on GC-EAD and no longer having H1 since 2013. I am planning to open company on side with couple of friends, can I work for that company actively ?

Sure you can, from an immigration standpoint.

But most employment contracts nowadays contain a clause that side work is only allowed with written approval from the employer. So, without that approval, you risk getting fired for cause.
