B1/B2 Visa Extension for Mother

My Parents had B1/B2 Visa since 2008 and it is expired in May 2018. My dad passed away in 2016 and we want to apply for extension of B1/B2 visa only for my mother. What are the implications for extension of my mother's visa.

Does she have to go for interview or she can have dropbox?

Iam on H1B in US since 10years. My mother works as well. Who should we show as sponsor for my mother's trip either me or my mother? What supporting documents should we show for sponsorship in this case?

Appreciate your help in this regard.

Yes, they visited US three times and gone back in time

She should have no trouble in getting a visa. Look up whether she is eligible for the drop box option.
