H1b/H4 Transfer for new employer

Hi,

Our H1b and H4 visa, I94 all expired on Sep 2017. We have the extended petition with the approved I140 until Sep 2020. H4 EAD is also approved till 2020.

I am changing my employer now and filing for H1b transfer. I have the below questions in this process.

1. Does H4 needs to be transferred along with H1b?

2. What happens to the existing H4 EAD? Do we need to file for H4 EAD again once H1b/H4 transfer is done with the new employer?

3. what happens to the approved I140(1 year older)?

4. Can the H4 travel outside of US and appear for h4 visa stamping and return to US with previous employer petition if the petition is still valid?

Please advise asap.
