L1A extension processing time

Hi,

I am in L1A visa and my current visa is expiring in mid of November 2018. I would like to know how long will it take to get an extension/denial status from USCIS.

My situation is, we are expecting our baby in 1st Dec 2018 but my visa expires before that (2nd week of Nov). Is it advised to stay back and have a delivery here. How long will it take to get the passport and visa for new born. Will employer cover the insurance though I receive my visa extension denial on time (by mid of Nov). 

Thanks in Advance and my spouse travel will be planned based on your suggestion. Let me know if you need any further information.

Please go through Premium processing and check for any recapture time spent outside India.

Contact your health insurance provider incase they provide same coverage or less coverage with premium paid by you. I think there are some laws that state that they can get same coverage after job loss but this is a different issue. Illegal presence instead of job loss.

Do you mean petition when you say visa?

When does your current L1 i94 expire?

I assume not a blanket L1?

Have you asked the company about the matter?
