L1 B BLANKET COMPANY ACQUISITION

Hello, 

Currently my company A is aquired by company B, company B aquired all the divisions of company A. There is qualifying relation between the parent in US and the company in India. Can you please help me to answer the below questions. 

1. Does comapny B need to file amended blanket peition for me to continue work in US 

2. If amended petition need to be filed, can myself ( L1B ) and my wife ( L2 ) stay in US untill the amendment gets approved. 

Iam in a urgent sititaion since the company change happned 60 days before, can you please help if its a issue if myself and wife stays more than 60 days in US.
