H1B stamping India

I am in H1B from 2009. I did my first H1B stamping in INDIA(Chennai) in 2009 while i am in Full time . I got laid off 2012 and moved to EVC model and later get stamped in Canada(2013) and Mexico(2015). Now I again moved to Full time. 

I need to get stamped end of this year as i want to travel to India. I am worried to to go for Chennai for stamping since i haven't went to Chennai consulate nearly 10 years and I am the Only person H1b for my Employer (a Non Profitable company).

Even though my case is strong , Despite If i get 221G my employer will be worried since i am the only person 221G they are not aware things we undergo. (What worries me most i can't update definitive date when it will cleared)

Just asking 2 cents whether i should go to mexico or chennai.

you can go anywhere and it can go to admin processing anywhere. It does not matter you go to chennai or canada as all consulates are following same procedure.
