CA DL using AB 60 while H1-B Extension Application is Pending...

Hi,

My H1-B extension application is pending with USCIS. Based on their processing times, the application may not be processed before by California Driver License expires.  CA DMV issues drivers license using AB-60 (for undocumented California residents).

Can I apply for CA DL renewal in DMV using the H1-B extension receipt?

Should I go apply for CA DL renewal using AB 60? Would that impact my GC application in anyway?

Or, should I apply for premium processing to speed up the H1-B extension processing?

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
