sacMaster123
Hello Friends, My most recent i-94 expires on Jun-30-2018. I was working for employer A, and the most recent approved petition which was filed for me by Employer A, expired on 02-Feb-2018. I switched from Employer A to Employer B in the first week of November 2017, so my new Employer B filed for my transfer and extension which is now pending with USCIS for more than 190 days. In this scenario, I am not sure about how 240 days clause is applied. From which particular date does my 240 days counter starts. I am confused between the date when employer B filed for my Transfer, or the expiry date of my most latest petition from employer A, or date of the i-94 Expiry. Kindly suggest. Thanks in advance for your time and suggestions. With Regards, ABC. Link to comment
Booster
In general scenario, Once I-94 expires then the count of 240 day starts then After the 240 days then you are not allowed to work legally until you get your decision but can stay in US until you get your decision. Link to comment
