L1A EAD

Hello,

Im on L1A and my current employer filed Green card for me. The current status is pending i485. I have a valid EAD as well which will expire in September 2019.

Hopefully, in Oct 2018, EB1 will be current again, and hopefully I will get the green card. My question is, if I want to switch company before October, can I do it with my current EAD? Will it have any effect on my green card processing? If I can, do I have to file anything in my new company?

Any help would be highly appreciated.
