Hi, 

I would appreciate anyone's help with this question. When US Citizen sponsoring brother who is also married. Do you just file paperwork for the brother or do we also need to file paperwork for his wife? Do we just file I-130 for the brother along with I-485 or just I-130 first? Do we then also file I-130 for his wife?

Look at the actual I-130 and spouse details etc. have to be filled up. You will file I-130 for your brother. AOS is applicable only when the PD is current in about 14 years and they are in status in this country. Otherwise consular processing is involved.

There is an approx 15-year wait for a sibling petition visa. There would be no i485; the beneficiary interviews at a US embassy.

Thanks, I can't figure out if we need to file i-130 for his wife or just i-130a and if we need to pay filing fees for my brother's wife?
