H4 got approved with expired date.

Hi I got a valid h4 visa till 12/31/17 but due to passport expiry got i94 till 07/24/17. So I filed i539(with my spouse old approval till 12/31/17) on 07/13/17 for which I got approval notice on 04/18/18 stating i94 expiry on 01/10/18. In nov 2017 my spouse filed for his h1b extension and got till aug2020 on 02/02/18. I thought since I am H4 they will pull my spouse record and give extension, so I did not know that I have to inform USCIS about his recent approval. I called USCIS help desk they ask me to file another i539 stating reason for delay. Now I am 24 weeks pregnant so not comfortable in traveling. Is there any other options? Please guide me. what are my chances. Thanks in advance

You are roughly 4 months out of status. You should involve a lawyer to discuss filing a forgiveness petition aka NPT and getting you back in status
