I-94 Catch up

Hi There,

My I-94 is expiring May 7, 2018 and there are still few days left in my H1B to max-out (about 2 months) as I was on vacation for few weeks.

While entering US, the immigration officer told me he is giving the same I-94 date which was earlier written on my passport as May 07, 2018.

I couldn't get the opportunity to tell him upfront to catch-up up to my max-out date so that I consume my H1B fully.

Is there any way to do so now?

The CBP Officer was not involved. He gave you an I94 till current petition expiry. You need to have your employer file a H1 petition to reclaim the 2 months.
