h1blues
Hello, I am planning to invite my parents, younger brother and his wife. I noticed that I could provide my brother's information on the latest I134 form itself. But there is no provision for providing sister-in-laws information since she is not my immediate family. Do I provide 2 separate I134s/cover letter and ask her to book the appointment around the same time as the rest of the family? thanks, h1blues Link to comment
pontevecchio
I-134 is NOT required. You stay out of it and have them apply . I am sure LOT will be soon here with his take and salt withstanding, he will make sense. Link to comment
JoeF
An I-134 is not needed, and it doesn't help any, anyway. The important thing is that they can convince the officer that they will return to their home country. Link to comment
h1blues
very interesting responses. The last time I applied for relatives in 2008 and 2013, I have had to provide I134 docs. Have things changed in recent past? Link to comment

It was declared not enforceable over a decade ago. It was not needed in 2008. Link to comment
