Hi

My wife filed tax for 2017 in 1099 MISC.  The total earnings for 2017 is <10K.  While talking to my friend, i realized that my wife's visa expired by end of 2016.  I have applied for a renewal now.  My H1B expired by end of 2016 and got renewed till 2019 without any issues.  I know it is such a dumb mistake.  I am not sure what to do now.  Request for help.
