What all they verify while processing I485?

Hi,

Me and my wife, we both got EAD as AOS and our priority date is going to be current soon [again] and I want to be prepared for that.

When we filed our I140 and I485, I was no able to provide work experience of 1 of my oldest company from India and I gave letter from colleague instead. Since I have I140 approved and have EAD also,  I just want to know if to put any more effort to get that letter for 485. Am not sure when they actually verify all that and I dont want any issue for 485 when date become current.

Does anyone knows that what all do they verify while working on 485? Do I need to worry about  my missing experience letter. Since I got 140 approved, does it means the work experience has been verified already or will they actually look at all those documents while processing 485?
