Will there be problem for I-485 approval as we are not living together? We have been married for 10 years and have a kid . Link to comment

pontevecchio Posted March 26, 2018 Report Share Posted March 26, 2018 I suspect the fact that you have been married for 10 years and have a child should clinch it. You should be able to explain why your career prospects took you elsewhere for a temporary period of time until you both get a job in the same area. Secondly you also own the house in CA jointly as it is community property and hence that is one of your addresses of record. Link to comment
