switch job using previous I-140 approved petition

Hi, Just a question on switching jobs and continuation of GC process.

I got my i-140 approved from my previous employer and switched the employer...now question is can I switch employer again and retain the same priority date even though this employer (current one) don't file GC?  In other words to say how long can I use the first  original I-140 approval  ?

If the I-140 is pending more than 6 months, you can get H1 extensions till the PD is current.

Yes...i-140 is approved long back.. So I can switch employers multiple times right and use the original I-140 approval when the PD is current, correct?
