Amendment denied but extension is in progress

Hi Everyone,

 

I have filed an amendment(for location B)and traveled to US on Aug 2017. Amendment was moved to RFE in October and response was submitted on November. Meanwhile my visa(approved for location A) was expired on Dec 31st 2017 and so i filed for the extension with the new location(B) for which i have applied amendment. My amendment was denied on Jan'2018 and my organization wont share the reason for denial with us.  They informed me as i can continue working since i have filed extension with the same location(B). Now i have following questions

 

1. Is there any chance to find the reason for denial?

2. Will the rejection of amendment will my impact my extension also?

3. Its been 3 months and still my extension status remains as "Case was received". Is it ok, to change my case to premium mode? I am scared bcoz of denial of amendment.

Any update i have also in same situation but my extension got approved but amendment denied. Can will still continue work as i have approved extension+amendment.
