Visitors Visa- H1 b Amendment

Hi,

Mom's Visa Background:  My Mom's visitor visa was rejected when i applied for my grad walk in 2014. I want to re-apply visitor visa for her.

My Visa Background: I filed an amendment to my H1 for a client in california in Feb 2017. Amendment was denied  in August and i re-applied for the same client once again LCA was approved and amendment is in processing. The problem here is when my amendment was rejected in August. My employer started running my pay roll on Illinoi taxes (My Initial H1 is from Illinoi) and he did not change it even after the LCA is approved.

Question:

1. Does state in which pay roll runs is looked into during visa approval?
2. If so, should i put all the documentation related to my original H1 and not include any related to amendment?
