H1B Extension 8th Year Same employer

Hi 

Currently I am on 7th year , after 6 year i got extension for 1 year , which going to be finishing on April 2018 , My I140 is approved , now for extension my employer filed a extension petition in October 2017 , and my current i1797 is expiring on April 2018 , My Petition is in vermont center , and i am still waiting for some result, can I file for premium , but i heard all premium processing are getting denied , can you please suggest something what should i do ? can I wait but my License will  expire in April too , My employer is same as last time and i am not sure what to do wait or file premium .

You can ASK the employer to convert to Premium Processing.
