Green Card for Parents

Hello,

 

I am a US citizen, going to file petition for my parents for permanent residence. They are currently not is US. They have a valid visitor visa to travel, and they intend to travel using that in couple of months, prior to the approval of green card. Is it possible to submit their adjustment of status later while they arrive in US so that they don't have to go back to home country for interview?

Once an I-130 is filed, they have shown immigration intent and very likely would not be able to use a visitor visa for entry.

Apply via consular processing once they are here.
