H1B Visa Extension Petition denied

Hi,

I'm currently in my 6th year of VISA and had filed for the H1B visa extension where i got RFE first and upon responding to the RFE with the required documents, i got a denial. I currently have i-140 approved. What are the next options i have here? How long can i stay after i get the denial notice?

While looking around, i found some options but not sure how valid those are:

1. Refiling the H1B visa with the same employer

2. Look for a new job and transfer the Visa ASAP thro the different employer

3. Appeal against the Denial notice with the additional documents

Can someone please provide some details here and share if anyone has faced the similar situation in the past.

Can you give some background?

What reason they gave you for denial?

Your country, type of work (software?)

Industry

Number of employees? How big is company?

Is it Foreign based company like Infosys?

Most important, did you have valid LCA (unexpired) before this application?

I am working as a software professional.  My i-94 is expiring after 6 days .my i 140 is approved, The reason for h1b denial is unknown as i saw the status online and waiting for the notice to arrive.Yes i had a valid LCA.
