i94 expired, extension filed by i539, L1 extension denied

My child's i94 is in expired status and we have processed an i539 filing based on L1. However the L1 filing has received a denial. The L1 extension was filed by the company and L2 extension was filed by external attorney owing to i94 expiry. What will happen to this case?

If the primary applicant choses to convert to H4 as there is i94 validity on the primary applicant, what are the options for my child? How can she continue to have a legal stay in the US? Can her i539 be pulled out and resubmitted as a H4? How can I have my child here legally?
