vyuvarajin
Hi All, I'm planning to take visitors visa for my in-laws. My father-in-laws name is misspelled in my wife's passport, in our marriage certificate when compared to his documents. My wife's documents starting from the school certificate till the visa papers, everything need to be updated, which is certainly impossible within the next few weeks. So, my plan is my wife's cousin stays in California, so he is sponsoring for my parents-in-laws (his nephew) visa. Myself and my wife will not be in the picture while taking visa. My wife's cousin is sponsoring for visa from California and we stay in New york. So, my parents-in-laws port of entry will be New york. Will it be a problem if the visa sponsor stays at California and my parents-in-laws port of entry is New york? My parents-in-laws don't have enough bank balance to spend for their visitors visa immediately. So my wife's cousin is sponsoring for their travel. Thanks, Yuvaraj Link to comment
JoeF
There is no sponsoring for visitor visas. Somebody else may pay for the trip, but that's not sponsoring. The POE doesn't matter. Link to comment
