MindPower
1. Employer A filed I-140 for me and got approved now for more than 180 days and also not revoked. Now I changed my employer to employer B. Is it required to start PERM process again with new employer ? 2.a. If yes then what is reason to start PERM again ? 2.b. Is it worth taking risk to start PERM process now since there is a lot of turmoil going on in H1B world ? 3. if no then what will be the impact on I-485 whenever date will become in future ? pontevecchio
PERM is employer specific. Why do you think A will employ you later on? Link to comment
MindPower
Is there any alternative if A denies to provide Supplement J at the time of filing I-485 ? Will AC21 be useful in this case by any chance ? Link to comment
care_candidate
I was in same boat few years ago. Send me your email & I can explain you. Link to comment
JoeF
PERM and I-140 are employer-specific. A new employer would have to start the process from scratch. You can reuse the PD of an earlier approved I-140, and the H1 can be extended past the 6 years. That's it. Link to comment
