Changing jobs after 6th year H1-B

Hello everybody,

I am sort of in an angst about my career and immigration.  My current employer filed for my Permanent residency and I have an approved I-140. I am planning to stay on this current job so I can get a 3 year H1-B approval after my 6 year term. Once my H1-B visa is extended for 3 years, is it safe to change jobs/ employer in the seventh year ? Does it expose me to any risk ? please share your thoughts
