fileOct2016
Hi Here are my case details applied in Houston, Texas 10/11/2016 Applied for N-400, Application for Naturalization 10/13/2016 USCIS received Form N-400, Application for Naturalization 10/24/2016 USCIS scheduled for a fingerprint (Biometrics) 11/09/2016 Biometrics done My online status still says "On October 24, 2016, we scheduled you for a fingerprint appointment". I contacted everyone my area Congressman, Senator, Ombudsman but all they say is "USCIS is unable to provide a specific time frame for resolution of the case". I called USCIS 800 number and they say my case is still within Priority date which currently is September 3, 2016 and so will not open a service request. I am kind of stuck now please let me know what other options do I have. I was not expecting that long of a time I have other folks who applied after me and they already got there passports. It's very frustrating. Thanks Link to comment
Shurap1
No options than to wait for processing time for your field office passes your application date. Once done, you can open service request but mostly you would get interview scheduled before that. Link to comment
kianb
We are in the same boat. I applied August 17 2017 and finger prints on September 11. I know each field date has a different processing time so I assume our field office is houston. Our status says waiting for interview schedule so can only wait I guess Link to comment
leman
Application from 2016 is a concern. It is taking 8 to 12 months for processing. So you need to check if you can take info pass and get any more details. Regarding application in Aug 2017 is well within the time line they are posting. So I am not surprise. I am in a same situation. Applied on Aug 15 2017, Waiting for interview scheduling.... Link to comment
